Terms and Conditions

1. Website Design Studio (WDS) will start with your website once we have received all the information and pictures that you would like to be displayed on your website in the relevant format AND once the first payment has been received.Please note that your domain also have to be ready before we can start with your project.We will register your domain within 24 hours but it could take longer if we need to transfer your existing domain to us.

2. All info (text) must be sent to us in Word format. Pictures have to be JPEG, GIF or PNG. Pictures and info must not be sent in PDF format. You must ensure that there are no copyright infringements on content and pictures supplied to us to use for your website, as you will be held accountable for any infringements. By accepting these terms and conditions you confirm that there are no copyright infringements and you indemnify WDS against any claims for any copyright infringement.

3. Website Design Studio reserves the right to suspend any account  without warning (website removed from the internet and hosting services placed on hold) should payment not reach our offices on the due date.

Our accounts department will be in contact with you via email in the case of a returned debit order / credit card payment or any other method of payment.

A penalty fee of R100 applies to reinstate a suspended account.This penalty fee together with the outstanding amount must be paid to us via EFT.

Should this penalty fee and outstanding amount not reach our offices before the next payment date ,then the customer account will be deleted from our system and no future orders will be accepted.

4. Once a website has been ordered and payment received no refunds will be made. Make sure that you can afford the monthly fee before you order a website.The monthly invoice will be payable whether your website has been completed or not.We guarantee that we will have your website up and ready within 14 days but we can not design websites without info and without an active domain.If you fail to send your info or if your domain has not been transferred (if applicable) then you WILL be liable to pay for the recurring invoices because 1.) we are waiting for you 2.) the monthly amount payable is for hosting,not for our design services.Our design services are free.

5. Our 14 working day website completion guarantee starts ONLY once we have received all information and pictures from YOU that you would like to be displayed on your website as well as payment for the first invoice. You will be notified as soon as we confirmed that we have all the relevant info to start designing your website to confirm that the 14 day clock is now ticking.The 14 days guarantee only applies for our basic website design packages.Advanced websites time frames will be stated on the quotation/invoice.

6. Website Design Studio reserves the right to choose to do a particular website or not. We will not design websites containing ANY pornographic content, foul language or anything we feel is inappropriate or could harm anyone’s internet experience or WDS’s reputation and name.

7. Monthly invoices will be emailed once payment has been received via credit card or debit order.

8. WDS offers email support and telephonic support Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm)

9. Our Free Website Packages includes static websites only. Complex developed websites (Ecommerce) will be quoted accordingly.

10. Once your website has been completed any alterations or updates will be charged at R250 per hour unless stated otherwise in the package details. Please link to our packages page to view details.

11. We guarantee 99.9% uptime on all our websites/hosting. Should you experience any problems with your website or emails please feel free to contact us at info@websitedesignstudio.co.za or complete the online support form.

12. SEO marketing cannot be guaranteed in any way. No business in the world can guarantee this marketing method. It is however highly advisable to purchase our SEO package (at a once-off price) This marketing method will increase your website’s chances to rank higher on Google.

13.Google Adwords accounts will be in your business name if you purchase our Google Adwords package. That means that your business credit card details will be used. Website Design Studio will not be held responsible for any outstanding amounts or suspension of accounts with Google for any reason whatsoever.

14.Website Design Studio is fully booked most of the times and can therefore not guarantee that we will start with your project from day 1.We shall however inform you via email when we can start with your project. We will not accept any form of payment before we can accommodate your project.

15.Updates to your website: You can simply email any changes to info@websitedesignstudio.co.za. Option 1 does not include any monthly updates. Option 1 PLUS, Option 2 and Option 3 includes 1-3 hours of changes every month. Unused hours will not accrue to the next month. If you are an Option 1 subscriber OR if you need more than 1-3 hours worth of updates in a specific month, we will bill you separately at R 250 per hour. We will always first provide you with a quotation. We have found that 1-3 hours per month is more than enough for minor updates. We DON’T want you to pay any additional fees. We want you to enjoy the full benefit of our FREE WEBSITE DESIGN concept.Updates will be completed within 7 working days.

16. Ownership and IP of all websites designed or hosted by WDS will vest in WDS until receipt of – 12 payments(Option 1); 10 payments (Option 1Plus); 8 payments (Option 2); 6 payments (Option 3)

17. Subscriptions may be upgraded ,downgraded or cancelled with a 30 days notice in writing via email.
